Annual Bloomberg New Energy Finance Pioneers award recognises
game‐changers in the field of clean energy technology and innovation
London and New York, 17 October 2012. Bloomberg New Energy Finance’s
annual New Energy Pioneers programme honours up to 10 companies from across
the world that are well‐placed to be the next game‐changers in the
fields of clean energy technology and innovation.
A panel of industry experts, supported by Bloomberg New Energy Finance
technology specialists, selects the winners according to their potential
scale, innovation and momentum. The winning New Energy Pioneers will have
developed unique technologies, a robust business model, and have the
potential to be disruptive in the marketplace on global scale.

Winners will be unveiled on 22 April 2013 in New York at the sixth annual
Bloomberg New Energy Finance Summit, the leading discussion forum for
decision‐makers in clean energy. The Summit will include a programme of
events showcasing the winning companies, coverage on Bloomberg TV, and an
exclusive New Energy Pioneers reception with the industry's key
decision‐makers and investors. Winners are likely to attract considerable
press and media attention.
